Q&A with Dr. Forcioli
What Makes Your Practice Stand Out from the Rest in Lombard IL?
I started this practice with the vision to be patient-centered in everything we do. This means we take our time with patients and go above and beyond to give you a white glove experience. Having worked in both corporate and large private practice fast-paced settings, I knew patients deserved more from their oral health care providers. We work hard every day to ensure you and your family’s needs are met. I promise at our office you will never be rushed or feel like just another number waiting to be seen. Since our office is small, we have a relaxing and comfortable neighborhood practice feel – which is hard to find these days.
What Makes You Excited to Go to Work Every Day?
I get the opportunity to make genuine connections with patients who have entrusted me with their dental care. The relationships I make with patients and their families is special. It is rewarding to help my patients achieve their oral health goals and see a smiling face at the end. Everyone I treat is unique depending on their age, dental history, and background. I enjoy navigating the things that make each patient different to help them feel comfortable in the dental chair. I believe this is exclusive to the profession of dentistry and am blessed to be in this field.
What is the Most Important Thing You Want Your Patients to Know About You?
I believe being transparent is important in the field of healthcare and specifically dentistry. You can breathe easy knowing you will be treated as if you were family at our office. I always give patients all their treatment options and explain what I would do if it was myself, mother or child. Practicing dentistry is a privilege and I want your family to know every day I strive to provide the best care possible.
What Are Your Favorite Activities or Hobbies Outside of the Office?
Family. Family. Family. Being second-generation Italian and first-generation French means my European-American roots run deep. We cherish our time together especially around mealtime. It is not uncommon for my family to spend 3 hours at the kitchen table just talking and drinking coffee. It’s important to me to stay active with my family and kids. On a weekend, you could find me at the park playing soccer or on a walk with my dog, wife, and young daughter. I have always taken a special interest in learning about history and nature (nerd alert). I enjoy watching Netflix documentaries whether it’s the latest true crime episode or an alpine hiking expedition through the mountains of Nepal.
What is Your Favorite Aspect of Being a Family Dentist?
I love being a family dentist and having the ability to care for families from childhood through adulthood. The variety and scope of practicing general dentistry keeps me learning the most up-to-date protocols for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. We have families spanning multiple generations within the practice and it is rewarding being able to care for grandparents, parents and children all from the same family.
